Encounters are required for any medical decision making.
Prenatal Care and Delivery
I provide continuity obstetric care to my patients. Patients always see the same provider, a physician (me). I have delivery privileges at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. It is an honor to attend a delivery and then follow that child (and parent!) through life.
Adult Care
I treat men, women and the elderly; whether for acute or chronic concerns. As a board certified family physician, I offer individualized care. So ask me about your concerns, whatever they may be. I will try to help you. I will make referrals to specialists as needed and coordinate your healthcare team. I am open minded, willing to engage in experimental or alternative treatment regimens if and when appropriate. I am currently privileged with MSRMC. I mainly rely on the inpatient hospitalist team at MatSu Regional Medical Center(MSRMC) to admit and manage adult inpatients due to the limitations of solo-practice.
I offer:
- vaginal deliveries or assist with cesareans as needed
- office- based skin and nail procedures
- nutrition and dietary counseling
- preventive care and screening
- family planning and contraception (long acting reversible contraception)
- DOT physicals
- medical cannabis evaluations
- medication assisted treatment of substance use disorders
- FAA flight physicals- second and third class
- workman’s compensation evaluations
- mental health counseling and medical treatment
Pediatric Care
I manage both acute and chronic pediatric medical conditions. I refer to pediatric subspecialties as needed and to neuropsychiatric resources as indicated. I am privileged at MatSu Regional Medical Cener, where I admit both newborns following delivery and older children if they require inpatient attention. As a mohelet, I am qualified to perform the entire brit milah ceremony for Jewish patients.
- well child evaluations
- sports physicals
- vaccinations
- lingual frenotomy ( for tongue-tie release)
- neonatal circumcision (boys upto one month of age)
- brit milah ceremony
- lactation support for mothers
Payment
Co-pays are due at the time of appointment. If insurance is to be billed, their information is required before being seen. No-show fees will be charged if patients do not call to cancel or reschedule prior to missed appointments. I bill most private and public insurance companies as a courtesy to my patients; including Medicaid, Medicare, and Tricare. I gladly offer a discount for self-pay and am currently in-network with most insurers.
